Shéba has been a science teacher at Community Roots Charter School for 14 years and loves seeing the expression on her students’ faces as they uncover new discoveries. Although Shéba was raised on Long Island, she calls Brooklyn home. She is inspired by her two sons who love coding and games and brings that excitement to her own coding classes! When Shéba is not in front of a class of students - she is traveling with her family or exploring the city on her bike!
